Monarch Butterfly Handmade Pottery Tumbler Cup, Small Abstract Floral Ceramic Stoneware Hand Painted in Copper, Patina Green, Cream, Microwave Safe
My handmade, hand-painted stoneware monarch butterfly pottery cup makes a beautiful and unique gift. Each cup is 100% handmade and wheel-thrown. I hand painted with lead-free, non-toxic glaze. This small piece has layers of abstract butterfly wings and trumpet vine flowers in copper, satin patina green, glossy black, and creamy white. Use at sink-side, enjoy everyday with warm or cool beverages, whiskey and bourbon cocktails, wine, or whatever your drink of choice. A functional piece of ceramic pottery makes a beautiful gift for housewarming, anniversary, Mother’s Day, birthday, Christmas, hostess, and more!
Once the clay was bone dry, I fired to bisque in my small home studio kiln. Bisque firing takes about 8 hours. Once the bisque firing is complete, the final glaze is hand painted, allowed to dry, and then fired again in the final stage (another 8+ hours).
The photo shows the actual piece you will receive. Expect slight perfect-imperfections, as each piece is 100% made by hand.
In order to prolong the durability, I recommend hand washing with mild detergent, like Dawn.
Microwave and dishwasher safe.
The glaze is lead-free, non-toxic and food safe.
No boiling water, as thermal shock could occur.
Ceramics should be handled with care, as they can break, chip, or crack if dropped.
Give as a gift, or bring some original artwork to your own decor with a unique and beautiful pottery piece!

This is the fourth mug that I purchased from Camille. The design is lovely, the workmanship meticulous, the ceramic is very dense, sturdy. The first mug I bought was a decade ago, a yellow mug with a blue iris, purchased at the Georgia O'keefe museum. I no longer have it. Not available anywhere. I'm happy to buy 3 new ones from her. Worth the money, these mugs will give you pleasure forever.
