My handmade sugar skull dog drawing pottery pieces are unique gift for a day of the dead, dog lovers, sugar skull fans, birthday, and more! This design features my screen printed "Dia de Los Meatos," dog art design. My drawing is from my late corgi mix, Scrappy. His spunky personality lives on in my 100% unique day of the dead drawing of him. The coffee mug is 100% handcrafted, and hand painted with non-toxic, shiny teal, and black ceramic glazes. This piece is a fun Warhol-esequ Marliyn MonMEAT (Monroe homage).

This mug is wheel-thrown. Once the clay was bone dry, I fired to bisque in my small home studio kiln. Bisque firing takes about 13 hours. Once the bisque firing is complete, the final glaze is hand painted, allowed to dry, and then fired again in the final stage (another 10+ hours).

The photo shows the actual piece you will receive. Expect slight perfect-imperfections, as this piece is made by hand.

I recommend hand washing with a mild soap, like Dawn.
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The glaze is food safe, lead free and non-toxic.

Ceramics should be treated with care, as it can break, chip, or crack if dropped.
