My wheel-thrown spoon rest dishes are 100% handmade and are functional ceramic pottery. Perfect for use as tabletop or stovetop spoon rest, coffee and tea bar, soap dish, trinket dish, and more.
Once the clay is bone dry, I fire to bisque in my small home studio kiln. Bisque firing takes about 8+ hours. Once the bisque firing is complete, the final glaze is hand painted, allowed to dry, and then fired again in the final stage (another 8+ hours).
Each piece is 100% unique. Available pieces are listed. Unless otherwise noted, the photo shows the actual piece you will receive.
**SHIPPING NOTE** - I will refund shipping overages for multi-item orders, as well as postage overages due to the postage being calculated for the heaviest item.
In order to prolong the durability, I recommend hand washing with mild detergent, like Dawn.
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The glaze is lead-free, non-toxic and food safe.
Do not pour boiling water, as thermal shock could occur.
Ceramics should be handled with care, as they can break, chip, or crack if dropped.
