My copper and art deco verdigris green pottery pieces are individually handmade and wheel-thrown functional stoneware. The earthy desert Southwest glaze is non-toxic and lead free. Once the clay is bone dry, I fire to bisque in my small home studio kiln. Bisque firing takes about 8 hours. Once the bisque firing is complete, the final glaze is hand painted, allowed to dry, and then fired again in the final stage (another 8+ hours).
The photo shows the actual piece you will receive. Expect slight variations and perfect-imperfections, as each is made by hand.
In order to prolong the durability, I recommend hand washing with mild detergent (like Dawn).
Microwave and dishwasher safe.
The glaze is food safe and is non-toxic.
Ceramics should be treated with care, as it can break, chip, or crack if dropped.
