My handmade, hand-painted stoneware monarch butterfly pottery mugs are beautiful gifts for coffee and tea lovers. Each cup is 100% handmade and wheel-thrown. Once the clay was bone dry, I fired to bisque in my small home studio kiln. Bisque firing takes about 8 hours. Once the bisque firing is complete, the final glaze is hand painted, allowed to dry, and then fired again in the final stage (another 8+ hours).
The photo shows the actual piece you will receive. Expect slight perfect-imperfections, as each piece is 100% made by hand.
In order to prolong the durability, I recommend hand washing with mild detergent, like Dawn.
Microwave and dishwasher safe.
The glaze is lead-free, non-toxic and food safe.
Ceramics should be handled with care, as they can break, chip, or crack if dropped.
