Light Blue Sugar Skull Pottery Trinket Dish, Small Bowl, Coffee Spoon Rest, Handmade Ceramic Earthenware, Black, White, Gray
My handmade sugar skull dish is a unique gift for day of the dead, Halloween, and for anyone interested in skull decor. The light blue, gray, and black glossy glaze bowl is 100% handmade slab earthenware and is functional ceramic pottery.
Once the clay is bone dry, I fire to bisque in my small home studio kiln. Bisque firing takes about 13 hours. Once the bisque firing is complete, the final glaze is hand painted, allowed to dry, and then fired again in the final stage (another 6-7 hours).
The photo shows the actual piece you will receive.
The backside is not glazed with glossy clear.
In order to prolong the durability, I recommend hand washing with mild detergent. Dishwasher use is not recommended and do not microwave. The glaze is non-toxic and food safe. Ceramics should be handled with care, as they can break, chip, or crack if dropped.
Give as a gift, or bring some original artwork to your own home decor with my sugar skull dish!
