Honey Bee Spoon Rest, BoHo Handmade Pottery, Coffee and Tea Spoon Rest, Trinket Plate, Butter Plate, Black & Charcoal Stripes
My one-of-a-kind handmade and hand-drawn honey bee butt stoneware dish won't sting a bit! Use as a condiment plate, butter dish, coffee spoon rest, tea bag rest, or trinket dish. The bee butt disappearing into the flower petals is hand-cut from slab clay, hand-drawn and hand-painted with non-toxic glazes. This simple little plate is 100% handmade and is functional ceramic stoneware pottery.
Approximate size: 4.5" x 5" x .25" thick
I take raw clay and shape and carve it intuitively by hand. Once the clay is bone dry, I fire to bisque in my small home studio kiln. Bisque firing takes about 13 hours. Once the bisque firing is complete, the final glaze is hand painted, allowed to dry, and then fired again in the final stage (another 8-10 hours).
Each piece is 100% unique. The photo shows the actual piece you will receive.
In order to prolong the durability, I recommend hand washing with mild detergent. Dishwasher use is not recommended and do not microwave. The glaze is food safe. Ceramics should be treated with care, as it can break, chip, or crack if dropped.
