Coffee Mug Ceramic Pottery Handmade Honey Bee Butt, Sunflower Stoneware Hand Painted Cup, Teal Orange Yellow Black Brown
My handmade, hand painted, honey bee butt and sunflower pottery mug is a joyful gift for coffee and tea lovers. This one-of-a-kind cup is individually handmade and hand painted with non-toxic glaze.
This mug features a hard-working honey bee, painted inside and out. The sunflower is painted inside and out as well. You can see the little wings and striped bee butt with the black outlines. The "black" stripes on the bee butt are accented by the raw, dark chocolate clay. I purposefully left this unglazed to add emphasis and interest.
This cute mug is a functional piece of stoneware ceramic pottery art, and makes the perfect gift for Christmas, Friendsgiving, housewarming, birthday, Mother's Day, and more!
Once the clay was bone dry, I fired to bisque in my small home studio kiln. Bisque firing takes about 13 hours. Once the bisque firing is complete, the final glaze is hand painted, allowed to dry, and then fired again in the final stage (another 10+ hours).
The photo shows the actual piece you will receive. Expect slight perfect-imperfections, as this piece is made by hand.
In order to prolong the durability, I recommend hand washing with mild detergent, like Dawn.
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The glaze is non-toxic and food safe.
Ceramics should be handled with care, as they can break, chip, or crack if dropped.
Give as a gift, or bring some original and functional artwork to your own collection with a beautiful mug!
