My handmade, hand-painted stoneware butterfly flower pottery mugs are beautiful gifts for coffee and tea lovers. Each cup is 100% handmade and wheel-thrown. I hand carved the butterfly and milkweed flower, and hand painted with satin matte, non-toxic glaze. Once the clay was bone dry, I fired to bisque in my small home studio kiln. Bisque firing takes about 13 hours. Once the bisque firing is complete, the final glaze is hand painted, allowed to dry, and then fired again in the final stage (another 10+ hours).
The photo shows the actual piece you will receive. Expect slight perfect-imperfections, as each piece is 100% made by hand.
In order to prolong the durability, I recommend hand washing with mild detergent, like Dawn.
Microwave and dishwasher safe.
The glaze is non-toxic and food safe.
Ceramics should be handled with care, as they can break, chip, or crack if dropped.
