My handmade ceramic serving platter will be a perfect addition to your Dia de Los Muertos dining and decor. Each piece is handmade stoneware ceramic pottery. A one-of-a-kind ceramic pottery piece is perfect for use as a serving platter, cheese serving tray, fruit dish, trinket plate, coffee spoon rest, or decorative accent.
The original cat face and sugar skull patterns are hand-pressed into the clay.
I shaped each piece by hand, using the slab method. Once the clay is bone dry, I fire to bisque in my small home studio kiln. Bisque firing takes about 13 hours. Once the bisque firing is complete, the final glaze is hand painted, allowed to dry, and then fired again in the final stage (another 6-7 hours).
Each piece is 100% unique. Available pieces are listed. The photo shows the actual piece you will receive.
In order to prolong the durability, I recommend hand washing with mild detergent, like Dawn.
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The glaze is non-toxic, lead-free, and food safe.
Ceramics should be handled with care, as they can break, chip, or crack if dropped.
