Blue Ceramic Pottery Bowl, Hand Painted Handmade Stoneware, Nested Serving Dish Cuerda Seca Floral Vine, Red Green Brown, Soup, Berry, Candy
My handmade nested pottery bowls are individually handmade, and hand painted with non-toxic glaze. Each is a functional piece of ceramic pottery. I used stoneware dark chocolate clay to throw these dishes on the pottery wheel. The vines and berries were hand painted using the cuerda seca resist technique.
Once the clay was bone dry, I fired to bisque in my small home studio kiln. Bisque firing takes about 13 hours. Once the bisque firing is complete, the final glaze is hand painted, allowed to dry, and then fired again in the final stage (another 10+ hours).
The photo shows the actual piece you will receive. Expect slight perfect-imperfections, as this piece is made by hand.
In order to prolong the durability, I recommend hand washing with mild detergent, like Dawn.
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The glaze is non-toxic and food safe.
Ceramics should be handled with care, as they can break, chip, or crack if dropped.
Give as a gift, or bring some original artwork to your own kitchen with a beautiful bowl!
