My one-of-a-kind pinch pot cup is 100% handmade and is functional ceramic earthenware pottery. The inside is a cool turquoise and blue speckled glaze. The outside is adorned with a hand carved, hand drawn agave pattern. Each agave leaf is hand painted with earthy green and blue glaze colors. This beautiful little vessel is perfect for warm sake, measuring out shots of your favorite liquor, or sipping on an espresso shot.

Approximate size:.
2.25" diameter, 1.875" tall, .20" thick

Artist Process:
I take raw clay and shape it intuitively by hand. This piece was hand carved once the clay was leather hard. I drew the agave pattern and carefully carved and incised the outlines of the agave leaves. It's truly unique! Once the clay was bone dry, I fired to bisque in my small home studio kiln. Bisque firing takes about 13 hours. Once the bisque firing was complete, the final glaze (four colors!) was hand painted, allowed to dry, and then fired again in the final stage (another 8-10 hours).

Each piece is 100% unique. The photo shows the actual piece you will receive.

In order to prolong the durability, I recommend hand washing with mild detergent. Dishwasher use is not recommended. I don't recommend oven use or microwaving. The glaze is food safe. Ceramics should be treated with care, as it can break, chip, or crack if dropped.
